Thanksgiving was wonderful even though I didn't cook a turkey for the first time in 38 years and the whole family didn't come to my house! I was so proud of the way the family pulled together to make this one of the best thanksgivings yet! It was so fun to be together and for once not have to worry if the gravy was going to be lumpy or wondering as we urged everyone to the table if I had left the cranberry sauce out in the garage!

One of my favorite memories will be seeing 10 of my grandchildren sitting around the table together becoming reverent and quiet as a prayer of thanksgiving was offered and as soon as the amen was sounded watching them dig into the feast!

My wonderful family is my greatest reason to be thankful this year!
